Last week Joshua turned 10 years old!! I’m still working on his Birthday post including pictures, so keep watching for that. In the meantime, I had to share this hilarious picture of Lola, so Overjoyed to be attending his party! Icing on the cheek and a wild woman attitude, I am so in love with my Lolabug. I’ll say it again, we should have used JOY as her middle name.

Lola Loves to Party
July 4, 2011Joyful Josh
October 12, 2010Here’s a few pictures of my darling 9 year old Joshua, the boy who keeps me enrobed in hugs and laughter. I love my little freckled nosed funny man. I constantly am looking at him in “awe” these days, he is growing and changing so much. I’m lucky that he still reminds me how much he adores me. When I drop him off at school he has no problem with hugging me and saying “I LOVE You MOM! Have a SPECTACULAR Day!!” – he’s just beyond scrumptious right now.

Another Cute Josh Story
March 17, 2010Last week I took Joshua on a special shopping trip to buy a brand new suit for him for his baptism day.
When he emerged from the fitting room with shirt, tie and suit on he excitedly exclaimed “Mom!! I look like I’m famous and like I have a job!!”
Joshy – you are precious!

December 20, 2009“Mom each day that I see her I love her more. I wake up and love her more and more everyday. Isn’t that great?!”
Another Joshy Quote:
October 22, 2009“You and Dad are so in love, and the perfect couple! If you both die soon we should bury you next to each other.”
The World’s Biggest Truck!
July 20, 2009On Saturday we took a drive out to Sparwood to show the boys “The World’s Biggest Truck”. We didn’t mention that it was the biggest in the world to them, instead we just pointed out the window as we drove up and said “Look at that HUGE truck!”, suddenly Joshy pipes up from the back seat and exclaims “I’ve seen bigger!” ROTFL.
Oh Joshy you delight your Daddy and I with your hilarious observations and funny comments!

He Denies it Now
March 17, 2009He Denies it Now…but yesterday Joshua said to me at lunchtime:
“Mom, things are picking up. I’m workin’ hard and I’m gonna be going off to college soon…”
Fighting Boys Crack Mom Up!
September 12, 2008Josh and Brigs have been loud and arguing for the past few hours. I was totally getting frustrated because nothing I did was working. Finally, in my frustrated Mommy tone I exclaimed:
“Guys! What is up today? Why are you being so loud and mean to each other?”
To which Joshua instantly pipes up:
“We can’t help it Mom! We were born this way!”
(at this point I’m trying not to laugh) I continued by saying:
“If you can’t get along and be kind I’ll be taking away your TV privileges.”
“That’s the end of our learning Brigs!” Josh replied
