September 1, 2009My little darlings on the 1st Day of School. Brigs and Joshy wore special t-shirts made by their Nana for the occasion! Aren’t they awesome?! If you want a tee let me know and I’ll hook you up with her, they ROCK! (Noah has a “N is for Noah” tee as well, but he opted to wear a familiar shirt this morning along with his WINTER jacket and hood!!! LOL!) That’s my boy!

The World’s Biggest Truck!
July 20, 2009On Saturday we took a drive out to Sparwood to show the boys “The World’s Biggest Truck”. We didn’t mention that it was the biggest in the world to them, instead we just pointed out the window as we drove up and said “Look at that HUGE truck!”, suddenly Joshy pipes up from the back seat and exclaims “I’ve seen bigger!” ROTFL.

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared some Josh-ism’s but this one begs to be blogged today, and has to do with the birth of our new little niece Holly! Congratulations to Conor & Katie (the super cute parents) who brought Holly Antoinette safely into the world on Friday. We’re so delighted that this sweet little girl is a part of our family. In sharing the newborn pictures of her with our boys, Joshy exclaimed in such a darling way:
“she’s so beautiful I can hardly stand it!”

This is too funny not to post! We were playing music this morning while he is getting ready for school. Suddenly Copacabana by Barry Manillow comes on over the speakers, and Joshy starts grooving to it.
Then he says “Hey Mom, this song was in Madagascar 2 when they are all on the plane!” dance moves continue…”This song never gets old!!!!”

Having Big Brothers

Ahhh yes, to have four doting Big Brothers to tote you around all day must be the sweetest realization! Little Miss was treated to the royal treatment by Joshua, who is totally loving having a little sister. I am constantly being asked by the boys “When will “our sister” be coming home forever?”
These weekend visits are wonderful, but heart-wrenching when we have to leave her behind. Thankfully THIS is the look I have to look forward to all week, when she finally sees us! She makes it very clear that she loves us, and we reciprocate of course!
