You’ve tuned in today for my Milestone Moment – yes tomorrow is my Birthday (a day I used to prep everyone for two months ahead of time, and now I cringe at the 28 date coming up on the calendar). Don’t laugh it’s true, SuperMom is turning 32! I know my Mom will back me up and tell you all that it hardly seems possible, I’m so young, so vibrant, and that there’s no way she is old enough to have a Thirtysomething daughter but she’d be lying. LOL! I used to dream of presents wrapped in beautiful tissue with clothing or fun trinkets of somekind – you know you’re older when you dream of getting new pots and pans!!! This is probably the place where I should spout some knowledge that I’ve gained throughout my vast 32 years of life, but I’m not going to bore you. Have fun, enjoy your youth, save early in life for the day when you decide that botox and lipo ain’t such a bad idea. Oh, if I had only started saving for future procedures when I was a little girl!!
A happy birthday to you! Your excitement for your 32nd birthday is infectious. Women our age dread turning a year older. It’s quite fascinating to read your post. I guess not all women are afraid of growing old. That’s a plus for you, and the others like you. You face the world with confidence and a smile to match! I’ve just realized I should be more like you. From now on, I’m going to stop being fearful of what misfortune life may throw my way. Well hon, today’s the day – the 28th has arrived and you’re officially 32!! You’re right, I can hardly believe it…and as the saying goes “it just seems like yesterday”!! We’ve created some wonderful memories through these 32 years and I love every one of them.
Have fun today, dress up pretty, put on your makeup, and have a ‘princess’ kind of day – you deserve it.
Oh, and as Grandma Stephenson would have said “don’t eat too much birthday cake!”
Happy, Happy Birthday to my wonderful sister. Mom called me this morning and told me how old your turning and I got to thinking, that cant be right because I am only 2 years younger than you. Happy Birthday Girlfriend. It is truly hard to believe we have managed to be friends and remain good friends for 13 years. I have enjoyed our friendship. There have been many good memories and a few not so great ones but I treasure our friendship and my life has been truly blessed because of it.
