I just found out that My husband can fit me in this afternoon at the dental school to have my wisdom tooth extracted (it’s been giving me all kinds of problems and migranes). I’m kinda nervous you guys, I’ve had a few out before and got really swollen and dry sockets! YIKES! Anyway, I need some soothing thoughts sent my way while I’m in the dental chair. I think I’ll try to dream about fabric, ya …fabric…

I worked out tonight…WAY too hard. I’m going to cry cuz I feel totally exhausted. On the bright side perhaps I worked off a few calories that I didn’t exactly care to add to my hips.

I finally went darker with my hair color. It’s a bit gutsy for me. The base color is a DARK auburn or deep brown and the highlights are definitely red. I’ve had alot of compliments on it from friends over the past few days and my sweet husband tells me it’s HOT!! YAY!! So what do ya think? My natural hair color was just getting quite blah and boring to me and I needed a change to pick me up. It’s interesting to see peoples reactions when you change your hair color, you can usually tell right away if someone likes it or not by how they treat you. I thought for sure that my Mom and Dad wouldn’t like it one bit but to my suprise my parents both thought it was pretty. I’m shocked because my Dad has always preferred a “softer” type of look with blonde highlights on me. I’m just tickled that Maya thinks Nathan is married to a hottie.

There is someone in my life who’s been there for me each and every day of my existance. Always caring for my welfare above her own, taking my hand and leading me through the various stages of my life that she’s already gone through. Even in tough times when I seemed unloveable or unreachable she loved me and prayed for me anyway, knowing and believing in me and what I am and what I could be. She’s seen me in every circumstance and knows my every reaction, my every expression and my deepest dreams for my children. She knows because they are the same dreams she had for me when I was her little one. I want to honor my Mother by telling you publicly Mom that you are INCREDIBLE and I love you. Thank you for always being my fan, my cheerleader and my teacher. I learned how to love from you and I can love BIG because that’s the way you have loved me! I honor you.
