Giving Brangelina A Run For Their Money!
Yep - I went out and got a new cordless phone but it’s not staying here. The phone is WAY too quiet and only goes up to level 4 on the volume - you gotta be kidding me I need it at least at level 8 or 9 in order to hear anything around this house while I’m on the phone. Back to the store I go! If you have a cordless phone that you love please give me the model and make!! Thanks Darlings!!

Welcome to the world of cordless phone shopping. I went through this about a year and a half ago and tried out about 5 different phones. Finally I gave up, but the new cordless phones by Uniden that Nicole gave Catherine for Christmas have finally filled that void in our lives. They came as a pair of phones. They are the 5.8GHz (feel the power) model. Model #DXI 5186-2. Go find ‘em.

I have that same phone, that Nicole gave Catherine, and I love them. I LOVE having two phones on the same line. I was constantly searching for teh phone before the person trying to call me hung up. No more. One phone on one side of the house and the other phone on the others side. We bought ours on Ebay though, instead of treading through Future Shop or some other crazy gadget place. The fewer gadget oriented places the better, you’ve met mye husband right?

We’ve had the same issues. I’ve spent from $9.99 to $99.99 for
a phone and the volume levels on all of them stank. I thought it
was me, “Is my hearing really that bad”? We now have a Uniden as
well and so far it’s working “OK”. I’m ready to go back to a
corded phone.
