I don't know your taste so I won't suggest any names, but I will give you an interesting website to go to. notwithoutmyhandbag.com Once you get there, click on bad baby names. If nothing else, it will make you laugh. :) I found you by way of blogexplosion, by the way. Good luck with baby!!

When we named our oldest son Luke, we thought a lot of guys would have that name (we named him just about the time Star Wars had come out, but we hadn't seen it until after naming him.) I just knew he'd have half-a-million other Lukes in his classes, but he turned out to be the only Luke at both of his large schools (middle and high school) and it's pretty uncommon, even at college. And he loves his name, and most of the girls think it's a very cool name. Our second son was immediately a "Jake" when he was born, though I officially named him "Jacob" because I loved the rhythm of the fuller name. But he's always been Jake and has loved it. Good luck finding the right fit.

Found you through Blog Explosions! I'm a name fanatic.

You have to decide whether you want your son to have a normal name or a slightly unusual name for which he'll probably be thankful for later. I have a name that I hate, because there are usually one or two other people with this name wherever I go. And then they try to shorten my name. And my parents gave me this name so I wouldn't have to shorten it... It's frustrating.

I can't think of any good names right now. But I hope you come up with the perfect one!

I named my son Warren Micheal, Michael being his Dad's name, because I liked the name Warren it was a "normal" /tradional name yet unusual enough, that was likely to be the only one in school with that name, but not so unusual as to have people wondering what I was smoking. I often thought if had girl I would name her Jaina Nichelle. One thing that helps is looking in name books for names you like the sound of and saying them with your last name to see how they sound. OR if you have someone or someplace that is special to you..

Hi. I know that we had more trouble naming our girl (Cailin), than our boy (Raine). I felt Raine was strong, athletic and honest. Not too popular or too weird. And, it really fits him now (he's 4) and I think it will be an okay when he's older, too.
