Giving Brangelina A Run For Their Money!
My good friend Debbie and her kids had our whole family over for dinner on Saturday afternoon. I was looking so forward to spending some time with them and was thinking about how nice it would be to not have to cook that day either. Well, were we ever in for a treat!! Debbie slaved away in the kitchen and made us a phenomenal meal - Nathan and I were so impressed! She made one of my favorite appetizer - amazing spinach dip with bread, raspberry punch with ginger ale, pork roast, potatoes, green beans, 3 different kinds of salads, gravy! And to top it off she had two different kinds of cake for dessert with strawberries and whipped cream. The girl totally outdid herself and it was so appreciated. We had Debbie and the kids over to our house a while ago for dinner but I think I served a big casserole and cookies w/ice cream for dessert - no where near the amount of dishes that she made for us. WHAT A TREAT!!!!!!!! I’ve been put to shame - lol!!

Oh, Daria… we were so happy to have you here… Kylie was thrilled, she loves you man!! I am glad that you all liked everything, and I would love to do it again for you soon….lasagna maybe… Cooking for the kids and I just isn’t as much fun as cooking for others, especially when the company loves it!! (teeheehee) And you thought desert was fun, wait until I actually get to bake you a cake! Love you!!

Debbie is one amazing gal. I am always impressed with the great fun that the kids have had at her home- and her cute little notes at the end of the day. She is clearly a person who does things with a standard of excellence in mind.
